Economic Development Department Redefines Henderson Through New Marketing Campaign

As a result of an extensive research and branding process, in partnership with The Abbi Agency, the newly created brand platform and identity represent the unique culture of opportunity that Henderson has to offer. To convey the new brand, Henderson’s Economic Development Department unveiled a new website,  logo and tagline. The logo points to the city’s open spaces, accommodating city council and staff, and supportive business community.

Ranked by WalletHub as a top-100 best city to start a business – and with names such as K2 Energy, Barclaycard and the Raiders joining the Henderson business community – Henderson is gaining recognition as a prime destination for professionals.

“One thing that really sets us apart is the city council’s business-first mentality,” said City of Henderson Mayor Debra March. “Business owners can rest assured that Henderson is in their corner, and we can now do a better job of communicating that through this brand and marketing campaign.”

A booming business community isn’t the only reason why people are flocking to Henderson, which has been ranked among the safest cities in the country. Aside from safety, the city boasts available and affordable housing, quality public education, easy access to McCarran International Airport, and world-class entertainment and lifestyle amenities.

“What people who are part of this community have always known – and what we’re really trying to convey to those interested in moving here – is that Henderson has a vibrant culture which supports business success,” said Henderson Director of Economic Development and Tourism Barbra Coffee. “The best way to raise awareness of that culture of success is to bring in a fresh, new identity.”

Key to Henderson’s success in expanding its business community is its strategic partnerships with local, regional and national organizations. These partnerships include representatives from the business, education, banking, government, architecture, technology, healthcare, transportation, real estate and construction sectors.
